Army Cadet Training Program

Each cadet is assigned a training level according to their age and when they join the program. Cadets progress to the following level if they fulfil the appropriate requirements, at the end of each training year.

Green Star Training Program

Master Cadet Training Program

Highlights:

The Master Cadet Training Program is a two-year training program that offers weekend workshops with senior cadets from nearby units and other opportunities to expand upon senior Cadets' leadership and instructional techniques. Cadets organize and lead training activities for their fellow cadets in the Green through Gold Star level training programs.

National Star of Excellence Program

Highlights:

Open only to cadets in the Gold and Master Cadet Training Programs, the National Star of Excellence program is divided into four award levels based on accumulated points awarded to individual cadets in recognition of their accomplishments in multiple sectors including but not limited to participation in the Duke of Edinburgh program, biathlon and marksmanship programs, attendance, volunteer activities, and so on.
